Spring Equinox Drum Circle at the National Cathedral

Drum together to celebrate the first day of spring!

Mark this day of balance between light and dark with an intentional drum circle. Join in community as we weave the rhythms of our prayers together with the holy vibrations of the drum in the awesome sacred space of the National Cathedral.

The Equinox is a day of alignment, balance and new beginnings. In the annual cycle of the sun, the Equinox marks the exact moment where the sun crosses the equator, making our day and night equal in length. We say goodbye to the darkness of winter and triumphantly move forward into the longer days of spring, welcoming in new light and new life with the communal heart beat of the drum.

Led by Katy Gaughan, Drumming for Wellness. No experience necessary. Drums provided or bring your own. All are welcome to listen, dance, walk the labyrinth, and make a joyful noise!

RSVPs requested along with a $5 per person donation. Seating is first come, first serve for the first 700 participants.
